งานแสดงครั้งที่ 14 ของ p.space "#TOUCH" by Ulrich Gottlieb เป็นผลงานที่เกิดจาก performance art ชุด touch ที่จัดแสดงมาแล้วทั้งในกรุงเทพ และเวียนนา ผลงานศิลปะที่สำคัญที่กระบวนสร้างสรรค์ ผลงานเป็นเพียงผลลัพท์ แต่เรื่องราวของที่มา ได้ให้พลังให้กับผู้ชมอย่างมาก

สืบเนื่องจากคุณ Ulrich ได้มาแสดงงาน สามแพร่ง Facefest
เมื่อปลายปีที่แล้ว เป็น Performance art ที่ศิลปะ
จะเข้าไปอยู่ในผ้า แล้วทำการเคลื่อนไหวไปมา
และมีสีวางไว้ให้ผู้คนได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม
โดยการระบายสีตามใจของแต่ละท่าน

โดยคุณ Ulrich เล่าว่า ที่เลือกใช้สีส้มเป็นผ้า
มาจากสีของจีวรพระ และเลือกใช้สีทอง มาจากพระประธานในวัด
และการแสดงนี้จุดประสงค์เริ่มแรก คืออยากให้รู้สึกว่า
งานศิลปะ เป็นเรื่องที่ทุกคนสามารถเข้าถึงได้

แต่พอเมื่อได้แสดง ก็ได้มุมมองเพิ่มเติมขึ้นมา
Ulrich กล่าวว่า เมื่อตัวเขาอยู่ข้างใน เขาก็ไม่มีทางรู้เลยว่า
ใครจะมาระบายสีเขาเมื่อไหร่ หรือตรงไหน จะมากน้อยอย่างไร
ซึ่งแปลว่าเขาไม่สามารถควบคุมได้
ส่วนด้านนอกเอง ก็ไม่รู้ว่า ตัวศิลปินที่อยู่ด้านใน
จะขยับไปทางไหน ช้าหรือเร็ว
ซึ่งก็แปลว่า ด้านนอก ก็ไม่สามารถควบคุมได้

จนเขาได้ความรู้สึกว่า เหมือนชีวิตคนเรา
ที่จริงๆ แล้ว ข้างในของเราเอง ก็ควบคุมไม่ได้
ส่วนข้างนอก ก็ยากจะไปควบคุม
การปล่อยวางจึงสำคัญ ซึ่งก็มาบังเอิญตรงกับ
คำสอนของพุทธศาสนา เหมือนสีที่เขาเลือกใช้โดยบังเอิญ

ส่วนพื้นที่ศิลปะของ P.space เองก็พยายามตอบโจทย์
การเป็นพื้นที่ศิลปะที่ใกล้ชิดชุมชน ผู้คน และเป็นสิ่งแวดล้อม
ที่ผู้คนเข้าถึงง่าย สัมผัส เรียนรู้ จนคุ้นชินกับศิลปะหลากหลายรูปแบบ

Recently I got the opportunity to setup a show of my latest work from the #touch performance happen in the same Area where the P.space gallery is based.
.
the P.space is in a wonderful local area in the old part of Bangkok, near the Giant swing with a strong community spirit.
.
A small but not too small cosy space to present artwork in a very warm atmosphere of community and openess.
Thai artists and International artists can show their art work from different fields. Khun Nune and her husband Khun Joe have been very helpful setting up the show.
.
Their engagement in their Art space, which is not only an gallery but also a coffee bar with wonderful coffee, a yoga space, and meeting space, is warmhearted and very welcoming. I'm very happy having my latest show in the P.eace space gallery.
